With the stay at home mandate in effect due to an epidemic, he tried nursing his hangover but was still bothered with the line. And what’s with the blinding lights and a strange man? Was Jack ill? Or was it something else entirely?

August Finch was able to remember only some parts of his favorite childhood stories, especially the one with kings, wizards, and knights. However, no one seemed to be able to remember it, not his childhood friend turned literary agent, nor his old employer who sold books his entire life. And when he met a woman doing something suspicious in the library, he thought she may have something to do with it.
